Travel time

General explanation

The travel time is calculated for all assigned shifts.

The travel mode options are DRIVING and TRANSIT.

The default travel mode for a candidate is determined by the Default travel mode setting on their profile. This can be configured when adding or editing a candidate.

When calculating the travel time, we plot a route in the background from the departure to the destination using the above determined travel mode. Similarly to what you would do using Google Maps manually.

The fastest route proposed by Google Maps is taken into consideration.

The travel time from that route is applied to the involved shifts.

Keep in mind that Skillo does no actual routes or travel time calculations.
