How Your Skillo Subscription Worksβ
When your company creates a Skillo Suppliers account, a subscription is automatically generated. This determines your access to Skillo's features.
Your subscription is managed in monthly intervals (12 per year). At the end of each interval, your subscription plan may transition based on your account's status and choices.
Subscription Plansβ

Skillo offers several subscription plans, each with a different level of access:
- TRIAL: Every new account starts with a free trial, giving you full access to all of Skillo's features.
- FREE: A basic plan with limited features, perfect for getting started.
- PREMIUM: Our full-featured plan, providing complete access to everything Skillo has to offer.
- SUSPENDED: A temporary state for PREMIUM accounts with overdue payments. Access is restricted until the balance is settled.
How Your Subscription Changesβ
Your subscription plan can change in the following ways:
π Starting Your Trialβ
When you first sign up, your account is automatically placed on the TRIAL plan, giving you unrestricted access to explore all features.
π§ After Your Trial Endsβ
- TRIAL to FREE: If you take no action, your subscription will automatically transition to the FREE plan once your trial period expires.
- TRIAL to PREMIUM: If your company's ORGANISATIONAL ADMIN chooses to upgrade during the trial, your account will seamlessly move to the PREMIUM plan when the trial ends.
π€ Upgrading Your Planβ
- FREE to PREMIUM: An ORGANISATIONAL ADMIN can upgrade from the FREE to the PREMIUM plan at any time. When this happens, your monthly subscription interval resets to the current day.
π€ΉββοΈ Renewals and Downgradesβ
- PREMIUM to PREMIUM: As long as there are no overdue invoices, your PREMIUM subscription will renew automatically at the end of each interval.
- PREMIUM to FREE: If you decide to cancel the automatic renewal of your PREMIUM subscription, your account will downgrade to the FREE plan at the end of the current billing period.
π₯Ά Suspended Accountsβ
- PREMIUM to SUSPENDED: If a PREMIUM account has overdue invoices, it will be downgraded to the SUSPENDED state, and access will be limited.
- SUSPENDED to PREMIUM: Once all outstanding invoices are paid, the subscription is automatically upgraded back to PREMIUM.
Billingβ
Billing only applies to accounts on the PREMIUM plan. Hereβs how it works:
- Billing Cycle Ends: Your billing cycle is tied to your monthly subscription interval.
- Usage Calculation: 10 days after your subscription interval ends, we calculate your usage. We count all shift hours of all shifts that were scheduled with a start time within that interval and had a candidate assigned.
- Invoice Generation: Based on your usage, an invoice is generated and processed through Stripe.
- Detailed Report: A report is linked to each invoice, providing a clear breakdown of all the shifts and hours that were billed.
