Update shifts request
Sometimes, as a subsponsor, you want to make updates to a shifts request you've sent out.
🟩 Skillo Suppliers has a timesheets system where subsponsors can send the actual hours for a week to primary sponsors.
We recommend using this feature for shifts requests that have already passed, and the actual hours/shifts do not match the planned hours/shifts.
This includes updating shift hours and cancelling shifts.
🟩 Editing a shifts request
We recommend using this feature for shifts request that have been approved, but have not passed and have suffered planning updates.
This will allow users to edit the shifts on a shift request and send it again.
Sending actual hours or cancelled shifts to primary sponsors
The intent of this feature is to allow the subsponsor to send in the actual hours or cancelled shifts to a primary sponsor.
We recommend using this feature in order to send updates about shifts that have passed.
In order to do this follow the steps below:

go to the shifts request you want to send the actual hours for. The shifts request must have the ACCEPTED status.

click on the "send actual hours button" located on the top right
➡️ this takes us to a page where we can send actual hours pe week to the primary sponsors.
➡️ timesheets are per week so you may need to update multiple weeks if that is the case

look top left and check the week interval you are on.
➡️ if necessary, navigate to a week where you want to update the hours

look for the timesheet for the primary sponsor that you want to send actual hours for
➡️ Each primary sponsor has a different timesheet.
➡️ If required, scroll down until you've reached the primary sponsor for which you want to update the actual hours.

update hours or cancel shifts
➡️ locate the shifts that require update; feel free to edit the hours.
➡️ changes made will not be saved until the next step
➡️ click on mark as cancelled to mark a shift as cancelled where necessary

When you are sure of the updates you want to send for the currently selected week look for a green button under the timesheet labeled send timesheet to [primary sponsor name] or RESEND timesheet to [primary sponsor name]
➡️ clicking the button will update the hours, and cancel any shifts you've marked as cancelled
➡️ the primary sponsor will receive an email notification about the update

go back to step 3 if you need to update hours or cancel shifts for another week
Editing a shifts request
We are currently only allowing subsponsors to edit shifts requests that have an ACCEPTED status.
Editing a shifts requests cancelles the current one and creates a new one.
The Primary Sponsor will have to review the new shifts request in order to ACCEPT or DECLINE it.
For now, acommodation address and proof of accommodation details are not transferrable from one shifts request to another.
Follow the steps below to edit a shifts request:
- Click Edit on the shifts request page or on the sent shifts requests page next to the shifts request you want to edit.

Perform any required updates. You can:
✏️ edit client name
✏️ edit required competence
✏️ click on any shift in the calendar to remove it
✏️ click on + add shifts or on an empty calendar day to add more shifts
✏️ update the work site address
✏️ add an accommodation address or proof of accommodation

click on Update request at the bottom of the form. This will cancel the current request and send another one.
